Private conversations. Under your control.
SECUNITY Messaging is a messenger that works only with your company's own server, or your own. Messages are end-to-end encrypted, and the app never connects to any third-party server.

End-to-end encryption
Message content and attachments are encrypted on your device. The server, and its administrator, only see encrypted data.
Your own server
Data lives on the server chosen by your organisation. There is no central vendor cloud and no federation with other servers.
No tracking
The app contains no analytics, no crash reports sent out, and no ads. It connects only to your organisation's server.
Notifications without Google
On Android, notifications are delivered by your organisation's server. The app does not use Google Firebase.
Open source
The app's code is open (AGPL-3.0). You can inspect what it does and build it yourself.
For organisations and individuals
An alternative backup channel inside an organisation (installed through MDM), or a private messenger on your own server.
What this means in practice
End-to-end encryption protects the content of conversations. The server still knows that an account exists, when it connects and which rooms it is in. That is why it matters who runs the server: with SECUNITY Messaging it is always the organisation or person who set it up, not the app vendor. Learn more about encryption.
First thing after creating an account: set up your recovery key. Without it, if you lose your phone, nobody can restore your message history.
Getting started
The app is prepared for one specific server and does not let you enter an arbitrary address. Your organisation's administrator provides the installation and your login details. Android 13 or newer is supported; an iOS version is in preparation.
